Chapter 1439: Time to Discuss
Justin Kingston wasn’t joking when he saw the man behind him show no reaction.
He turned around to face him, and the man bowed his head, lowering his eyes as he stepped back two steps, "..." sensing the naturally chilling aura of Justin Kingston.
"I said continue the search operation, didn’t you hear me?" Justin Kingston stared at his somewhat fearful face, his tone calm.
"Yes, CEO Kingston." The man didn’t dare to argue.
"We need to find them alive or dead. Keep searching for ten days to half a month, and expand the search area if necessary. All expenses will be covered by the Kingston Group." With that, Justin Kingston handed him a business card, "Contact me anytime."
"Yes." The man reached out to take it, bowed, finally realizing he wasn’t joking, and didn’t dare to look up at him.
Justin Kingston’s calm gaze lingered on him for a few seconds, then he turned to leave.
As he passed by his subordinate, Justin Kingston told him, "Give him the numbers of Special Assistant Morgan and Dr. Shelby."
"Yes, CEO Kingston."
And so, the search team didn’t stop.
They not only decided to search the areas they had already covered again but even to search the entire river, as someone was footing the bill.
After Justin Kingston left, he was followed by four well-dressed bodyguards, exuding vitality. They wore black suits and sunglasses, and were highly skilled.
As Justin Kingston walked, he took out his phone and dialed Mia Lane’s number, "Honey, where are you? Send me your location." His aura was strong, but his voice was exceedingly gentle, that of a good husband.
"I am at..." Mia Lane thought for a moment, "This way, let me send my location to you first. I’m at the Old Tong Guesthouse, but the entire alley is full of guesthouses, so look closely at the signs."
"Alright, how is Ian Shelby now?" Justin Kingston asked, concerned, as he walked toward the steps.
"He fainted while going up the stairs but has since woken up and is not in any serious danger."
"Okay, see you later." Justin Kingston hung up the phone.
Following the address Mrs. Kingston sent on WeChat, Justin Kingston navigated his way forward and found the Old Tong Guesthouse within a few minutes.
The WeChat message also included the room number. Justin Kingston left three bodyguards at the door, entering the guesthouse with only one.
On the first floor of the guesthouse, there was a tea room, then the owner’s cashier desk and a spiral staircase. The space wasn’t large but had a certain charm in its arrangement.
"CEO Kingston, watch your head."
While going upstairs, the bodyguard cautioned him.
In comparison, Justin Kingston was indeed very tall, at 1.9 meters, he could easily bump his head.
The door to room 301 was open because they knew Justin Kingston was coming.
Ian Shelby was sitting on the sofa, filled with guilt, which affected his mental state.
Footsteps approached from the doorway, and Ian Shelby glanced up as Justin Kingston entered, while the bodyguard stayed outside the door.
"One moment," Mia Lane sensed he had something to say, promptly got up and walked out, "Bro!"
The door to room 303 was also open.
Room 302, originally occupied by Vera Ford, had been vacated because the police took her away before she could check out, leaving it empty.
There were only three rooms on the third floor of the Old Tong Guesthouse.
Trevor and Janelle Mills arrived at the doorway one after the other upon hearing the noise, Mia Lane looked at him, then at her, and suddenly understood something.
Did they open one room?
Had they already moved in together??
Janelle felt misunderstood and was about to explain when Mia Lane’s gaze fell on Trevor’s face, "Justin has arrived, let’s go discuss things together."
"Okay."
Mia Lane looked at the girl behind her brother and invited, "Janelle, you come too."
"Alright." Janelle nodded.
Mia Lane treated her as one of them, thus Trevor and Janelle Mills followed Mia Lane to room 301 to Ian Shelby’s.
