Mira could feel how much training against Arlon would improve her Armor Spirits, and spurred by that feeling, she began trying out more moves she had been unable to test against any other opponent before.
In the end, the fight between Arlon and the Ashen Knight lasted a bit more than ten seconds, and concluded with a powerful strike from Arlon that packed all of his fighting energy, timed at a very precise moment.
「So that was too much for it to handle.」
「If it could handle it, I would’ve lost.」
That was Arlon’s signature move, which he had honed through years of being an adventurer and fighting other stronger enemies. The way he had found and exploited weak spots on the Ashen Knight really showed how experienced he was.
「I really thought I had made it quite resilient, but I guess that’s not enough against someone as strong as you.」
