After checking all of the antiques from the Reverie Period, Mira joined the owner at the end of the line once again, who was looking at her with curiosity.
「You seem to be looking for something specific. Would you mind telling me what it is? I may be able to point you in the right direction.」
Once his mind came back from the world of art, the owner noticed Mira’s actions, so he asked her that, showing he was ready to help her find what she wanted. That offer felt like a godsend for Mira, so she quickly explained her situation.
「Ohh, alright, I’ll ask you then. Do you have any furniture that’s both old and used enough that there’s a chance a spirit was born in it?」
According to the Spirit King, the requirements for a spirit to be born in an item were time, constant use, and positive emotions from people. Mira tried her best to sum up those requirements, and the owner seemed interested by how specific that was, becoming even more curious.
「I think I’ve heard about that before. Sometimes furniture can start housing spirits too, not too dissimilar to how it happens with weapons. I’ve never encountered that myself, but it’s a common rumor amongst antique collectors. And you, the Spirit Queen, are looking for furniture like that… So am I right to assume it has something to do with your name?」
After a moment of thought, he asked her the first thing that came to mind, while his eyes were filled with expectation like a child.
「Hmm…well, it’s something like that.」
