Desolate Devouring Art

Chapter 1120 - Heading to the Altar

"It's over now," Liu Wuxie said, casting a reassuring glance at Chen Ruoyan. With him here, no one would be allowed to harm those beside him.

"Liu Wuxie, you walked to your death!" one of the elders shouted. Even though Liu Wuxie's punch knocked them flying, they blamed their misfortune on being caught off guard instead of admitting fault.

Liu Wuxie had appeared among them without warning and struck before they could react.

Shi Yuan's face twisted in rage. Of all the elders, he wanted Liu Wuxie dead the most. He was the one who proposed the plan to kill Liu Wuxie, and he had even secured the pavilion master's approval.

"Spirit Jade Pavilion... fine," Liu Wuxie said coldly, his eyes turning icy. "I didn't come looking for trouble, but you came to me. In that case, there's no longer any need for the Spirit Jade Pavilion to exist."

He summoned the Heretic Blade to his hand, ready for blood.

"Who gave you the nerve to spout such arrogance?" the hooked-nose elder snapped, slamming his cane to the ground. The impact shattered the nearby stones and sent a shockwave hurtling toward Liu Wuxie.

"This blade alone is enough," Liu Wuxie replied, stepping forward without hesitation. He didn't waste another word. With a flicker of movement, he charged at the four elders.

"Attack together!" the hooked-nose elder barked. The four quickly fell into a coordinated formation.

None of them was weak; none of their cultivation was lower than the pinnacle of the Earth Profound Realm.

Chen Ruoyan's expression tensed with worry. She knew firsthand how powerful those four were. She saw them combine forces to kill a cultivator at the Quasi-Heaven Profound Realm not too long ago.

"You can all die now!" Liu Wuxie roared.
