Claire didn’t know much about her brother. He was the eldest and Claire was the youngest daughter, they were almost ten years apart so they didn’t grow up together. But Claire has heard a lot of stories about her brother.
Her brother was exceptional since young, he may not have been apt in fighting, but he was outstanding in strategizing and talented which was discovered by her father early on and developed.
As the eldest, he had an age advantage compared to the other princes and princess and his talents that were nurtured quickly distinguished himself from his siblings.
Astronomy, geography, military affairs, and politics… he received the best education, and read plentiful books. Her father spent a lot of effort to raise him, and he indeed didn’t let him down, as a child he quickly learned things that even adults found complicated and profound.
His daily studying made his talents even more evident and he became the king’s pride and joy.
