Chapter 561: Self-hypnosis Story
Snow had thought that Nick wouldn’t attack because he was heavily injured, so she would be able to deal with just these small fries and then find a chance to escape! But the sudden attack messed up her plans.
As she felt that familiar magic undulations, Snow knew it was their frequently used black magic, so she immediately retracted her webs to form a defense. A dark purple cocoon with a sturdy exterior was quickly formed to protect that delicate little girl.
There was a large explosion as the thick blood-red beam swallowed the cocoon and knocked everyone in the surroundings over.
After quite a while, the aftershock finally dissipated and the beam disappeared leaving behind a tattered cocoon.
“Nick… you bastard, how dare you cheat!”
Snow’s angry complaint shot out of the holes in the cocoon.
She was barely able to stop the attack, but the cocoon was completely useless. She just gently reached out to pluck a part of the broken cocoon and the entire cocoon collapsed.
“You said you wouldn’t personally act, so why didn’t you keep to your word?”
“If you didn’t use black magic, I wouldn’t have done anything.”
