“So…what’s going on?”
I asked while putting back on the cloak I had taken off, and the girl in the robe who was staring at me spoke up, her face reddening slightly as if in a panic.
“There, there is something wrong with our town!”
“…I heard that.”
I couldn’t get any new information from her, as if she was quite flustered. And I had no choice but to look at the other girl in leather armor, but she seemed to be distracted by other things.
“Hey, are you sure this fellow is okay to be here?”
The girl in leather armor said this fearing the huge beast – Nero – who was staring at our situation with emotionless eyes.
“Don’t worry. Nero isn’t interested in humans.”
As I was gouging the magic stone out of the orc zombie corpse, deciding that this was not going to happen anytime soon either, the leather-armored girl screamed at my words.
