Chapter 200.4
If this was just a night party, it would be easy… but maybe things had been set up.
And that concern came surprisingly quickly.
“Your Highness the Princess. His Highness the Third Prince requests your presence on the western terrace.”
At the young maid’s words, Elena’s eyes squinted slightly, and she turned her gaze to me for a moment.
“Aria, will you come with me?”
“Yes, of course.”
So they were using Ron’s name to call for us. It was not impossible, but it would be unreasonable not to doubt it under the circumstances. But if we refused, the concubine’s faction would probably start making a fuss about the falsehood of Elena’s friendship with the third prince.
As the maid led me through the hall, I saw men sobering up and men and women enjoying their encounters on the other terraces. However, the terrace to which we were led was facing the inside of the castle, so the view was bad, and perhaps that was why there was no one there.
There was no sign that the maid was up to anything, and she was simply made to deliver Ron’s words by one of the civil servants, and when she finished showing us around, she went straight back to the hall.
“…Wait.”
