Reunion
“Aria… has been found?”
“Yes, that’s right, Elena.”
The Khalfaan Empire, a great power in the west. In the guest house on the grounds of the royal palace, a search party dispatched from the empire reported that a girl who was a close aide of the princess and who protected her at her own risk had been found and was on her way to the Khalfaan Empire with an adventurer [Rainbow Sword], delivered by a distant magic tool.
“Aria…”
Elena believed that she was alive. Believing only in that, she appealed to the empire, used her wisdom to move the empire, and sent out her friends, the Rainbow Sword, to look for her.
Even so, Elena was worried. She believed in Aria more than her mother or her father, the king. Even so, Elena couldn’t help but worry about the girl who was the only one in the world who called her [friend].

Lawrence Khalfaan third prince. He was originally the first child of the current emperor and was supposed to be the crown prince.
Due to the situation in the empire and for political reasons, the emperor decided to adopt two of his older half-brothers, giving them a higher line of succession.
Lawrence and his two older brothers were not on bad terms. Neither of them were ambitious men, and Lawrence believed that they could rule without any problems even if he did not become emperor.
