We ended up not being able to move from the site of that battle that day, so we had to encamp while Master, Mira, and Viro put up a monster repellent around us.
We did not just stay to encamp, but along with the corpses of the Evil Race soldiers, we were burning the black dragon we had taken materials from in the ruins.
Dalton was also pouring his own fire wine over the black dragon, as if to show respect to the strong.
I was not ready for battle yet, but I had recovered enough to get up and eat on my own. Even though it was a meal, many of the monsters used as ingredients around here were insect-based, and Viro, who apparently was traumatized from eating insects, frowned, but the others, even Mira, ate without even a frown on her face.
“The materials… even with all of us packing it into our extended bags, we won’t be able to bring much home, Dalton.”
“So what are we going to do about it, Viro… at least other than the meat…”
Pure dragon species…especially attribute dragon material was said to have no parts to throw away. I mourn for him, but we were adventurers. If we neither obtain materials nor eat meat, we would be no better than mere killers.
Even dragon blood and entrails could be used as materials for alchemy, and the meat was known as a delicacy.
