The Combat Skill I had unleashed crushed both of the ogre’s eyes, and I jumped in behind one of the ogre, which had unexpectedly dropped its weapon and held its face, and I stabbed the black dagger through its ears and into the brain to finish it off.
The ogre’s skin was hard enough to be used in high-grade leather armor, making it difficult for my projectiles and knives to hurt it, but one-on-one it was not an opponent I couldn’t defeat.
Dalton, the leader of the group, who found that I could fight better than expected, began to let me handle the demons to some extent, instead of using me only as a scout.
