Chapter 84
New Weapons and Nostalgic Faces Part 2
I rushed on the way to the village, but walked slowly on the way back. I was still not in good shape, but I had more than enough confidence in my physical strength.
The technique that defeated Gorgeol…I think it was probably a situation in which my Physical enhancement had gone out of control, but it consumed all my magic power at once and put a considerable load on my body as well.
I had never heard of such a phenomenon, not even from my master, but I wondered if Galbas, who was familiar with weapons, would know anything about it?
After I had arrived at the big town for the first time in a month, the number of guards had increased considerably, probably as a countermeasure against orcs.
I went to the gate without worrying about the guards, as they would not be lifted until it was confirmed that the orc threat had been eliminated.
I went to a stall along the way and bought some wild plants that I had run out of.
Normally, I should have gone to the Adventurers’ Guild and given a brief explanation to the receptionist, but instead, I went to Galbas’s workshop first.
As usual, I entered a backstreet, put on Concealment and moved noiselessly. After checking my surroundings to make sure there were no eyes of the Thieves’ Guilds, I knocked lightly on the door of Galbas’s workshop.
“Galbas, are you there?”
I thought he might be there because I heard hammering from inside, but I didn’t know if he could hear me because of that. I called out to him one more time and went inside, and Galbas, who was working on something in the forge, noticed me and his eyes widened.
“Ash-haired…you’re a wreck, what happened to you?”
