The professors in charge of this year's freshmen classes have gathered in the professor's lounge, a place for them to socialize before the start of the semester.
"The incoming freshman class seems to be exceptional overall,"
"Oh, come to think of it, there were three chiefs in the Knight department, right?”
Professor Ren chuckled at Professor Ain's words.
“I’m envious, there are only two Chief students in the magic department.”
“Are you making fun of our Summoning Department? Ren?" Professor Yura asked with a frown.
"Hahaha, of course not!"
"Which department will come out on top is something that can only be determined once the semester begins. There's no guarantee that the top students will always be the best, right? And there's also a freshmen representative among the top students this year," Ain added as he swirled his wine glass.
The professors nodded in agreement to Ain's words.
