The little girl suddenly pointed at Leng Yu Yan’s face and asked, "What’s that black stuff on sister’s face?"
Leng Yu Yan smiled gently and said, "My brother and I were hurrying to catch the boat and accidentally got smeared with coal dust."
"There’s water prepared in the room, you can go clean up properly," Jiang Xuan said.
"Alright, thank you!" Leng Yu Yan nodded.
Hearing their conversation, Ye Yiheng felt a bit displeased and tightened his grip on her hand.
As they left the civilian cabin, Jiang Xuan had Lao Liu take them to a room.
Exiting the civilian cabin and making several turns, they entered a small room, where Lao Liu raised his hand and said, "Please."
He then withdrew without much further conversation.
Such people were neither here nor there, and Ye Yiheng and Leng Yu Yan didn’t plan to fuss about it. After all, what can one do when away from home?
The two looked around the room which, though small, had two beds. However, the beds were narrow, only about a fist’s width from the edge if one lay flat.
