Tan Xiao chopped a few more times, severing a section of the vine to reveal the person inside.
It was a young man with light golden hair, pale and thin, like the pretty boys often seen in zombie movies.
Tan Xiao held his sword and took a closer look, wondering if this guy was one of Willard’s subjects.
"What are you doing?!"
A sudden shout came from a distance!
Tan Xiao was startled. He looked up and saw it was the man with the hat, returning with his companions. They were agitated and indignant, evidently treating him as a murderer.
Tan Xiao hurriedly said, "Hey! This has nothing to do with me! I was just looking for the sword, how was I to know he was stuck inside?!"
"Maybe you were the one who pushed him in there!" The curly-haired guy charged forward a few steps and fiercely said, "I’m warning you! Stay away from our people! Don’t think that just because there are game rules, no one dares to touch you!"
"Let’s leave him for now, let’s just get the person out!" the man with the hat said.
