Chapter 437 Liquidated Damages
Xu Ying nodded, looking at Mr. Sun, "If the factory can’t accommodate these employees, then I’ll just start a factory of my own."
It didn’t matter that individual entrepreneurs were popping up one after another; since she had been able to come up with these food products, she could continue to develop other kinds of food—there was no fear of a lack of business.
Mr. Sun hadn’t expected Xu Ying to be so determined and he immediately promised, "I will handle this matter well, rest assured. We’ve worked so hard to grow the business of our duck and fried products, we certainly can’t let others benefit from it. Don’t worry, I’ll go and talk to Minister Lin about this right away."
Xu Ying nodded, leaving the words hanging in the air, "If Minister Lin also decides to follow Director Ma’s approach, then if Xu Ying can come up with braised flavors, I can develop other flavored products. If push comes to shove, I’ll start my own factory, and everyone can come work at my factory then."
Secretary Zhang listened on the side, almost ready to clap and cheer, "I support what Minister Xu said."
Mr. Sun glared at him, huffing angrily, "You shut up."
Even though this situation was shady, the food factory was ultimately something that Mr. Sun had put a lot of heart into to get it to where it was today, and he still hoped that the factory could continue to thrive and not just fall into decline after he left.
"Xiao Xu, I will deal with this matter properly, I absolutely won’t let our factory fall into ruin," Mr. Sun said before he left the office in a hurry and anxiously went looking for Minister Lin.
Once Secretary Zhang saw Mr. Sun leave, he had a belly full of grievances that he couldn’t fully express. "Minister Xu, it’s good that you’ve come back; if you hadn’t, the staff of our food factory would’ve all left."
Xu Ying followed him towards the production section of the factory, and as soon as they entered, tens of thousands of eyes were all looking at Xu Ying in unison. Their gazes were filled with longing and sadness.
