The most precious part of it, obviously, lies in its inconceivable material.

However, in the eyes of a Transcendent, it’s nothing more than shattered remnants.

Gamblers consumed by ambition, desiring to further transcend their own selves.

But they haven’t yet lost their last shred of rationality, knowing that their bodies couldn’t withstand the power of transcendence.

Hence, the "uselessness" of these remnants has gained favor.

Of course, such hopes are ultimately dashed, as even the phalanx was melted down and cast into a die.

Portable and may slightly increase one’s luck.

Perhaps this stroke of luck is only reflected in the self-acknowledgment after a successful roll.
