The Scroll Management Department, once jointly under the Magic Tower and Imperial Palace, had been dissolved.
In its place, a new department—under exclusive Imperial jurisdiction—was launched: the Scroll Department.
Its Minister... was none other than Namia Roafi, who had only just turned twenty-three!
Naturally, every other department went into uproar.
“What is this? She gets involved in a scandal with the Crown Prince and instantly parachutes into a ministerial seat?”

Just as expected, rumors like that spread fast—and, again as expected, another kind quickly followed.
“No, no. I heard from someone in the Ministry—that Namia rejected the Crown Prince.”
“Seriously? What kind of eyes does she have? Are her standards for looks totally different from everyone else’s?”
In the swirling gossip, Kiaros ended up being portrayed as pathetically dumped.
But at least, the idea that Namia had been appointed for personal reasons was thoroughly dispelled.
