The moment the door opened with a click, her heat and strange scent filled the room like a sweet mist. She carried the citrus scent of a red spider lily, deadly yet alluring. At least to Ryan, but Nikolai just looked at her like a rival.

Her voice was like a melody that slithered through the air as if to match her forked tongue flickering between her plump, red lips. He understood… after fighting a heat burned in his abdomen, but she wasn’t his type.

Though her excitement crashed, she didn’t seem to mind slithering closer to Ryan, her eyes narrowed as she leaned close, her tongue flicking his cheek slightly. Ryan looked shocked, his body turned to stone while Nikolai watched.
