Li Pin stepped forward and helped Supreme Dao Origin to his feet. "No need for formalities. We simply discussed the Dao with each other and jointly explored the mysteries of reincarnation."
"Learning is endless, and the wise become teachers. If it weren't for your unreserved transmission and teaching, I wouldn't know how long it would take me to master the power of reincarnation," Supreme Dao Origin said solemnly and with sincerity. "Therefore, you deserve my full respect as a teacher, Supreme Origin."
He genuinely felt Li Pin deserved this honor.
The other Supremes had all left behind their own legacies in the world, but these legacies were almost always incomplete. They claimed it was to prevent successors from overreaching and wasting effort on unnecessary paths. However, in reality, they simply didn't want to share. Except for very few disciples whom they considered as successors, they taught no one else.
In comparison, Li Pin had shared the complete power of reincarnation without holding anything back, the power representing the path beyond Supreme! Had he intended to trade it, more than half the Supremes would scramble to obtain it, throwing everything they had at Li Pin's way. Yet, here he was, sharing it openly without any stipulations. Such generosity and spirit deserved the heartfelt respect and thanks from anyone, including these Supremes.
"I once attended your lecture at the Dragon Origin Dojo. Your insights on the power of reincarnation were also a great help to me. By that reasoning, I too should express my gratitude properly," Li Pin said, smiling.
Supreme Dao Origin quickly waved his hand. "How could my understanding of the power of reincarnation compare to yours, Supreme Origin?"
"It's not the same," said Li Pin sincerely. "Though your understanding of the power of reincarnation doesn't yet form a complete system, a great tree cannot consist only of its trunk—the branches and leaves are equally vital. Your insights have filled in what my own cultivation tree lacked. So when I say your insights have helped me much, I truly mean it."
He then smiled and extended an invitation. "Since we both have gained new understandings, why not start our discussion now? Let us sit and exchange insights, complement each other's shortcomings, and resolve doubts together?"
Hearing this, Supreme Dao Origin no longer insisted on formalities. He cupped his hands. "I would be honored."
At once, the two ceased pleasantries and began to discuss their understandings of the Dao of reincarnation.
As Li Pin had said, he had fully comprehended the power of reincarnation with the help of Creator Miao Ya's power, but it was like a tree trunk lacking branches and leaves. These branches and leaves would undoubtedly grow, but the process ultimately required time. Discussions with Supreme Dao Origin would accelerate this process, deepening Li Pin's understanding day by day.
