Li Pin quietly felt the Great Dao Radiance flowing through him. The pure light gathered into a set of armor that shielded his entire body.
"Great Dao Radiant Armor...."
By now, he had already fully comprehended matter, energy, time, and space. With that, he could follow the changes of power within the Great Dao Radiance to simulate, dissolve, and break down all four forces. Any attack based on those rules would no longer affect him.
"It really is no different from a Highlord's body," Li Pin muttered calmly. "The reason Highlords are hailed as the strongest in combat is because they're immune to all forms of attacks from the Supremes. Though they're not skilled in direct combat and are rarely able to kill Supremes with massive mass, their immunity far outweighs the downside of having low offensive power."
Now that he had forged the Great Dao Radiant Armor, he possessed a similar kind of immunity. The only difference was that a Highlord's immunity was passive, while his required the continuous support of the Great Dao Radiance. Once the light ran out, the immunity would vanish.
But the advantage was, unlike Highlords, he also had access to Supreme-level offense. As long as the Great Dao Radiance remained, he would possess both Supreme offense and Highlord-level defense.
Once he grasped the mysteries of Reincarnation and minimized the Great Dao Radiance's consumption... he would surpass the Supremes.
He took a moment to sense his current state. "For now, the Supremes can still rely on their sheer numbers to wear down the Great Dao Radiance. So if the fight drags on without a clear winner, I'll be the one to lose....
"But there's a limit to how much power can be unleashed within the Astral World. The highest burst of power caps at the Divine Emperor level, which is ten billion. Anything beyond that requires a special environment, or the cultivator risks triggering backlash from the Astral World itself. With this limit in place, the Great Dao Radiance can easily sustain multiple rounds of intense combat."
Li Pin shook his head as he reached this conclusion. His rise had been far too rapid. At this rate, he was already invincible across the entire Astral World.
Unless he stood still and let several Divine Emperors attack him at once to quickly drain the Great Dao Radiance, they wouldn't even be able to break through his defenses, let alone defeat him.
"I was hoping that if the Astral Lord Council went all out, I might finally feel some pressure and push past my limits. But now..."
