Baili Qingfeng looked at Li Pin, somewhat puzzled. "Huh?"
Li Pin extended his hand toward him. "I'm saying, leave the threats of the Aurora Empire, the Cavern Dwellers, and the Twin Moon Domain to me."
Baili Qingfeng still didn't quite understand, but he could tell that Li Pin meant no harm.
He hurriedly wiped his hand before shaking Li Pin's. He then asked, "You're here to help me? That's great! There are so many times when I just can't handle everything alone. Like when I was dealing with Blood Wolf City. Since I was on my own, I couldn't do anything when the Cave Dwellers hid inside the city."
"You should've brought more instant noodles next time," replied Li Pin. He then chuckled, as if something had come to mind. "But there won't be a next time. Tell me, how long has it been since you last went to school?"
"S...school?"
"Yeah, the semester started a while ago."
Li Pin's words made Baili Qingfeng tense up. "But... but I—"
Li Pin smiled. "I know. You still have unfinished business. But like I said, leave it to me."
Baili Qingfeng looked at him, clearly not ready to be at ease.
Li Pin didn't push him. Instead, he said, "Let's head back first."
Baili Qingfeng nodded firmly. "Alright."
