That was an arrogant assumption.
For a mere Divine Being to dare judge the right and wrong of a Highlord's actions. How utterly presumptuous. How staggeringly arrogant he had to be to even entertain such a thought?

The second choice was to trust his own judgment, to believe that the Highlord himself was mistaken in his pursuit.
Perhaps, due to the fact that no one had ever succeeded, the Highlord's experiment had been doomed from the start, its very foundation flawed. And that choice...
