Chapter 466: Their Love
Despite their demanding schedules and responsibilities within the kingdom, Dani and Abel prioritized spending quality time together. Dani felt overwhelmed by how their relationship progressed.
Following Zaila’s advice, Dani embraced a newfound confidence, leaving no room for hesitation. She became more vocal about her thoughts and feelings, openly expressing herself with Abel and showing her affection without inhibition.
Today, she completed her tasks ahead of schedule because she eagerly anticipated Abel’s promised outing to a special location. Unconsciously, a smile crept across her face as thoughts of them spending time together in a different surrounding brought her joy.
"Caught you zoning out! Something good must’ve happened, huh?" Zaila teased with a grin. Dani responded with a playful wink, "I’ll be going out with my husband. Abel said that he’ll take me somewhere special today."
Zaila clicked her tongue and let out a snort, "Look at you, flaunting it now. I guess you took my advice, did you?" Dani felt a blush creeping up her cheeks, and before Zaila could tease her further, she hastily excused herself, leaving her friend behind.
She was surprised to find Abel waiting for her outside, leaning casually against the hallway wall. With his arms crossed, he simply excluded a roguish charm that never failed to make her heart skip a bit. "Ready to go?" Abel asked, a crook smile playing on her lips. Dani responded with a quick nod, "Yes". Her eagerness was evident as she hurried toward him.
"Then let’s go," Abel murmured, drawing her closer as they instantly shifted into his mist form. In no time, they arrived at their destination. Dani’s smile broadened as her feet touched the white sand. Abel had clearly prepared well, with a blanket laid out and baskets filled with what she presumed were their meals and snacks for later.
"A picnic?" she hummed, delight evident in her voice.
"Yes, and let’s take a swim too. The weather is perfect, not too cold and not too hot," he whispered into her ear, his warm breath sending shivers down her spine.
