Chapter 405: Entertaining
Another day came, and Abel became restless, but not because of his nightmares coming back since it wasn’t like he wouldn’t dream of his tragic pasts every now and then. Usually, it only happened whenever he was anxious, but lately, he had a lot going on, especially about Rosela.
[Mason, make sure you report everything to me about Rosela,] Abel telepathically reminded his curb that he had assigned to Rosela. [She might do something stupid, so I want you to closely look at her every move.]
[Everything is fine, Master. Please don’t worry,] Mason reported, making Abel let out a sigh of relief. [Lady Rosela has been very busy doing her usual work and hobbies, especially in the opera.]
Still, despite the good news, Rosela dreaded the fact that Nikolai had a wife, his Queen now. For some reason, he had a feeling that she would do something just so she could take back Nikolai’s attention. And with his last encounter with Lady Dani, the woman clearly emphasized that someone had something to do with the previous siren’s attack. With her words alone, there was no doubt that she suspected that he and Rosela were behind it. But Abel’s conscience was clean, so could it be Rosela then?

Abel clicked his tongue at the thought. "That woman surely is tactless; talking without breaks..."
Somehow, Lady Dani found out about his intimate relationship with Rosela that he was trying to keep a secret upon the latter’s request. However, what puzzled him the most was how that woman managed to cast a strong spell on him. It was bothersome, so Abel stood up as he made up his mind to break the Thrall Chaining Spell cast upon him as soon as possible.
"Ah, where is that woman?" he snorted as he transformed into his mist form to look for Lady Dani. "She still owes me an apology for calling me a fool!"
Looking around, he unknowingly smiled the moment he spotted the woman alone walking towards the pond. Landing in front of her, he smirked as she jumped up in surprise.
