Chapter 236: His Meal**
Nikolai couldn’t even define how good he was feeling. Drinking Mineah’s blood was like no other, and she tasted so good that he didn’t ever want to stop. Still, he managed to stop himself just before he could lose himself in her taste.
Abruptly pulling out his fangs, he groaned as he licked off the remaining blood on her skin. He hadn’t gotten enough, but his strong awareness of not hurting his wife and draining her overpower his strong desire to indulge more in her heavenly blood.
"Lai, did you have enough?" Mineah whispered while he continued to gently shower and pepper her shoulder blades with his kisses.
"Yes, Mine. Thank you," Nikolai murmured. "Did it hurt?"
He said that, but he was practically eyeing her now. He was craving not only for her blood but for his wife entirely. Absently, he pulled at the strap of her gown and let it slide down the floor.
"I’m not hurt, Lai. It stings, but not that much," Mineah answered, followed by a few soft moans as he cupped her breasts. She leaned her back on his chest as her sweet voice called out his name, "Lai."
She tilted her head up to the side to look at him, and Nikolai took that opportunity to capture her lips with his. He gently stroked her shoulders, chest, waist, and sides, his hand naturally settling in between her thighs as he prepared her for him.
"Lai," she moaned into his mouth as his fingers skillfully began to move in her secret place.
"I love you to infinity, Mine," he groaned into her lips. "I... I can’t get enough... I keep wanting more of you."
