Chapter 122: Chance of Relaxation**
Mineah woke up to a start. Looking out the window, the fact that there was a glowing sun on the horizon meant that the Midnight Sun had already come. Already, she felt her heart beat fast as she looked around. Now was the time for her to move, and-
"Mine..."
She froze when Nikolai suddenly appeared in front of her. She didn’t even notice him there until he announced himself.
"How long have you been here?" she asked.
"I’ve been here all this time, Mine," he seductively smirked. "You’ve been waiting for this, right?"
Before she could even reply, the scenery shifted as she suddenly found herself back in bed. It was then that she realized that she was dreaming. After all, she would’ve noticed if he had carried her all the way there without her noticing it.
’This is a strange dream though,’ she inwardly thought. ’Dreaming about the Midnight Sun... Am I that excited about it?’
"You don’t know how long I’ve been waiting for this moment," Nikolai breathed out into her neck as he laid beside her, his arm wrapped around her shoulder as he pulled her closer. "How long I’ve been dreaming for this to come..."
Mineah felt her breath hitch as she felt his lips grace the skin of her neck. His tongue trailed long and slow circles wherever it went. Eventually, it settled right on her earlobe, his lips gently suckling on her ears as if he was trying to taste her very thoughts.
