Mineah bit her lower lip as the familiar sensation of pleasure coursed inside her body. She was about to move to face him, but he steadied her instead as he wrapped his arms possessively around her waist.
She felt his breath and lips brush against her skin. "Just stay like this for a while..." he hummed into her ear as she felt his hug tighten around her as if he was afraid she’d break free from it.
"I... I’m so blissful that I’m able to embrace you like this right now, Mine. You don’t know how much I missed you," Nikolai muttered. "It feels like hell not seeing you around... Not being near you like this..."
Her breath hitched as his lips began kissing her bare shoulder blades. Goosebumps appeared all over her skin at that simple gesture. It was too much, and her stomach felt like there were butterflies fluttering inside it.
Trying to calm herself, she scoffed, "So unfair. I want to embrace you too!"
"I... I feel like I’ll lose control if you face me and embrace me back, Mine," Nikolai chuckled as he justified himself. "I might end up crushing your lips with mine to the point that it might lead to something more."
"And?"
Mineah couldn’t help but scoff as she retorted. The two of them were already lawfully wedded in the eyes of both their kingdoms and of the Heavens. What reason did they even have for them to wait for so long?
