Chapter One Thousand And Sixty Five – 1065

There was nothing.

No Felix. No Pit.

There were only the Cardinals.

Four Bodies stretched across all existence, spanning the vastness with unblooded flesh. Four Minds tallied through infinite complexities, sorting and enacting processes too minute to be seen and too gargantuan to be noticed. Four Spirits attuned to a ceaseless tapestry of crescendos and diminuendos, a tidal flux that permeated all the rest. A wild, shifting pattern that stretched between the Cardinal Beasts and the Domains they held between them. Harmony. Dissonance. All of it was one, joined at last as what was broken became whole.

The illusion of chaos and the fantasy of order rolled off the backs of the Cardinals, the four of them so different and yet possessed of the same unknowable confluence. If eyes were of any use in that place, they would not be able to parse where one ended and the others began. And yet…

Ten thousand purple eyes turned toward one particular patch of thrumming pattern. Bonds flared, beating in tempo with something that should not be. A song that refused to end…

…without one final verse.

We Are Not Done!

Fingers tore free from confluence and unflesh, assembled by sheer Will into familiar shapes. Feather, fur, and skin reached out—and fell. Patterns overcame them, waves without end.

A flicker that lasted millennia tugged at mouths too strange for expression, and ten thousand eyes creased.

Your Choice Is Heard, Scion. Hero Of Creation.

Electric blue lines crackled across the span of infinity, resounding off of a Will that denied even unmaking itself.

And All Choices Have Consequences.
