Chapter 11: Cute
Up at Qingxuan Sect.
In Luo Yueguan’s courtyard.
When Chu Xianning arrived, the spiritual energy in the courtyard was in disarray. Although it was early spring and the courtyard should have been blooming with flowers, it now seemed like a frozen wasteland, with dewdrops on the petals turning into frost. Chu Xianning walked forward calmly and pushed open the door to Luo Yueguan’s room.
Luo Yueguan was sitting cross-legged on the bed, dressed in a purple Taoist robe, her hair disheveled, and her cheeks dotted with sweat droplets that slowly trickled down to her collarbone, only to freeze into frost at an alarming rate.
Chu Xianning’s sudden arrival caused Luo Yueguan to open her eyes.
The two looked at each other for a moment before Luo Yueguan looked away.
“What are you here for?”
Chu Xianning simply tilted her head slightly.
“Can’t suppress your inner demons?”
“It’s manageable,” Luo Yueguan replied.
“Jiang Huai has cheered up Luo Qingyu. She was clinging to him and laughing happily this morning,” Chu Xianning said indifferently.
