The Jade Emperor halted, and spoke softly. No sooner had his voice faded than the Supreme Old Master appeared before him.
The two stood facing each other, less than two meters apart, the gravel in the alley beginning to tremble slightly.
Looking at the almost ethereal Supreme Old Master, the Jade Emperor’s expression was somewhat unnatural.
What he feared most was the sage behind the Supreme Old Master.
Could it be that those sages had also been reborn in this universe?
If that were indeed the case, the Jade Emperor would have to reconsider; he did not wish to be dominated as in his previous life.
