Chapter 59: Redfield’s Past
Antonio was hiding in the cabin, tears welling up in his eyes. He hated how weak he still was. Keeping the Den Den Mushi connection open, he kept calling out for the captain to return.
Hearing Antonio's tearful plea through the Den Den Mushi only made Brook's icy expression even colder.
"Captain Brook, I'm going ahead!"
Redfield's face was filled with fury. Antonio was his crewmate—how could he let an outsider bully him? Not to mention, their Golden Ark had been invaded. Without hesitation, he transformed into a flash of lightning and shot back toward the ship.
"Silva, Shakky, you two hurry up as well! I'm heading back first!"
Brook also vanished into a blur, leaving behind only a chill in the air and a trail of frost in his wake.
"Silva, faster, faster!"
Shakky pushed herself to the limit, successfully executing Soru. Meanwhile, Silva's modified propulsion boots lifted him into the air, allowing him to speed forward.
"Hey, Silva! Since when did you make those flying boots? Why didn't you get me a pair too?!"
Shakky barely caught a glimpse of the long-barreled sniper rifle on Silva's back before he disappeared from sight. Furious, she cursed under her breath—next time, she'd definitely make him pay!
"Take this—'Wind Knot'!"
