One Piece: Capitalist Brook's Crew Expansion Plan

Chapter 50: The Golden Ship Sets Sail

With the entire Sky Nation working on the shipbuilding project, the Golden Ship was constructed at an astonishing speed. Once the lightning storage containers from Birkka were installed, the powerful hum of machinery echoed through the air.

Nearly a thousand Jet Dials lined the sides of the Golden Ship, boosting its propulsion. Redfield personally recharged over a hundred Thunder Dials connected to the lightning storage system—nearly the entire stockpile of Sky Nation's Air Dials.

As the Fish-Man shipwright Tom pressed the launch button, the massive propeller wings spun rapidly. Before everyone's eyes, the Golden Ship lifted off successfully.

Brook was overwhelmed with excitement. It was hard to believe that such advanced technology in this world could actually make a massive battleship fly.

"Captain Brook! With the power stored in the lightning containers and 120 Thunder Dials, even without Redfield's recharging, the ship can stay airborne for at least half a month!"

That was even accounting for significant energy loss. If they had access to Lunarian technology, the flight duration could likely be extended further. After all, if Lunarians could travel from the distant moon to the Sky Islands, a mere month's worth of energy storage wouldn't be enough for such a journey.

The Golden Ship was illuminated brightly, with Sky Island Light Dials installed everywhere. Cooking appliances were powered by Heat Dials and Flame Dials, while the bathing systems used Water Dials.

Brook noticed the numerous Sound Dials scattered around. Every crew member seemed eager to have him record songs so they could listen to his music in their rooms. It made him chuckle—had they forgotten he was once a renowned musician?

Perhaps it was time for him to return to his roots and compose some hit songs. Or maybe he could just steal a few classics from Earth—something emotional, something thrilling, something epic...

Meanwhile, Shakky had spent time with the old meteorologists of Weatheria, learning advanced navigation techniques for the Grand Line and the New World. She had even mastered the use of Wind Nodes.

Her greatest offense, however, was acquiring several Weather Ships and placing them aboard the Golden Ship. These were Weatheria's crucial transport vessels, used for traveling to the Blue Sea for supplies and intelligence gathering.
