Hashirama's sudden change of mind completely disrupted Madara's thoughts, leaving him stunned and confused.
He hadn't seen him for half a day, why had Hashirama changed so much?
Could it be that Hashirama had anticipated his intentions and deliberately used the position of Hokage to stabilize him?
"Hashirama, this joke isn't funny." Madara didn't believe it.
