Chapter 384: The Wedding Procession
Nawaki was so excited that he almost jogged the whole way to Misaki's house. Orochimaru followed closely behind, with the Kawakaze group trailing a little further back.
Standing in front of the door, Nawaki straightened his clothes and cleared his throat before knocking.
Knock, knock, knock~
"Misaki, I'm here." Nawaki's gentle voice carried clearly into the house.
"Sister Misaki, your husband is here," Kushina teased, raising an eyebrow at Misaki before glancing back toward the door with an expectant expression.
"Why are you looking at me?" Misaki retorted, understanding her teasing. She shot her a scolding look before calling out, "Come in."
The door creaked open, and Nawaki stepped inside, dressed sharply for the occasion. The childish mischief he usually displayed around Misaki was gone, replaced by a calm, confident demeanor. At that moment, he looked undeniably handsome.
"You're really beautiful today." His gaze was fixed on Misaki, captivated. If it weren't for the presence of others, like Pakura, he feared he might lose himself entirely.
"What are you daydreaming about? Marrying her is enough to keep you company for the rest of your life," Pakura teased, snapping him out of his trance.
"Heh heh..." Nawaki scratched his head awkwardly and laughed.
"Idiot," Misaki muttered under her breath, extending her right hand toward him.
