Chapter 334: Sakumo’s Shock
"Uncle looks so scary," Ginji whispered to Tsunade at the dinner table.
"Don't be nosy," Tsunade scolded, glaring at him. Couldn't this brat see everyone was trying to eat in peace?
"Never mind him, come to your aunt for a hug," Nayuki said, glancing at Sakumo before opening her arms to Ginji.
"I don't want to be that close to my uncle," Ginji said flatly, rejecting Nayuki's invitation without hesitation.
"You child..." Nayuki smiled and slapped Sakumo lightly on the shoulder.
"I'm just a lowly Anbu Commander. Can't I even sulk by myself?" Sakumo said, putting down his chopsticks, feigning the expression of an offended spouse.
"Sakumo, what are you even talking about?" Tsunade sighed, feeling helpless. This was complete nonsense, and now it had somehow turned into a discussion about positions.
"You're the Hokage, and he's on your side," Sakumo continued, ignoring her. "How could you two be so heartless, letting the three of them go back to the Land of Rain alone?" He first pointed at Kawakaze and then at the three disciples quietly finishing their rice.
Minato, meanwhile, was already enjoying the show.
"Big brother, listen to me," Kawakaze started. "If I dare to let them go, it's because I have confidence in them."
"You have no idea," Sakumo snapped, cutting him off. "Tell me, what makes you so sure? It's easy to talk, but where's the proof?" His protective instincts flared as he thought about the dangers the trio might face.
