Chapter 212: Pakura’s Unsealing
Pakura quickly washed the dishes.
The Orochimaru household didn't have servants, and she believed this lack of formality made their home feel more genuine and homelike.
After putting the dishes away, she dried her hands and turned to see Orochimaru still sitting in the same spot. His long black hair and golden, vertical pupils gave him a vacant, distant look, as though he were lost in thought.
The purple eye shadow extending to the wings of his nose only emphasized his pale complexion, giving him a more otherworldly appearance. The green and blue tomoe-shaped earrings on his earlobes hung motionless, and Pakura found herself staring, gradually becoming dazed.
"Are you done?" Orochimaru's voice broke her trance.
"Er, it's finished." Pakura's face flushed with embarrassment, as though she'd been caught doing something wrong.
"Then I'll help you remove the seal," Orochimaru said calmly. Though he couldn't fully imagine losing his own powers, he felt a sense of admiration for Pakura's composed demeanor.
"No rush, I'm going to take a shower," Pakura said suddenly, turning and hurrying out of the room.
"You'll just wash again after it's removed," Orochimaru pointed out, but Pakura didn't respond or turn back.
"She really is clean-loving," he muttered, shaking his head as he made his way toward the bedroom.
Pakura retrieved clean clothes from her room before heading to the bathroom. Once inside, she closed the door and slowly undressed, revealing her curvaceous figure. Lowering her head, she ran her right hand along the center of her lower cleavage, where an ugly black seal pattern marred her skin—the source of the Chakra suppression.
