Naruto: Wooing Tsunade from Day One!

Chapter 159: The End of the Second Shinobi World War

"No!" The three elders behind Pakura spoke in unison, trying to stop her.

"I've already made up my mind," Pakura said, turning to face them. "When you go back, support Rasa well. He will be a good Kazekage."

Her tone carried the finality of a farewell, as if she were saying goodbye for the last time.

"If you truly don't want to go to Konoha, it's not impossible to renegotiate," Kawakaze interjected, clearing his throat. He couldn't believe this woman's resolve. Tsunade's piercing gaze felt like it could kill him on the spot.

"There's no need to discuss it further. 1.2 billion ryo and I'll go with you. Let's sign the peace treaty," Pakura said firmly, her attitude resolute.

Kawakaze opened his mouth but found himself at a loss for words. He had walked into this situation himself, but now it felt like he had backed himself into a corner.

Why did I have to meet such a stubborn woman?

"I don't think this is truly necessary. Your village, Sunagakure, still needs you," Tsunade finally spoke up, unable to hold back any longer.

She studied Pakura closely, realizing the woman was undeniably attractive—perhaps almost as good looking as herself. A strange, conflicting emotion stirred within her.

"I've made up my mind! Do you want to back out?" Pakura's voice rose, her nearly roaring tone startling Kawakaze and the others.

This woman is crazy, Kawakaze thought, rubbing his temples as a headache set in. What does she plan to do in Konoha—eat and drink?
