Chapter 13 - 11 Wolf King’s Killing Intent_1
Qin Feiyang's gaze deepened. Uncle Yuan's meaning was crystal clear: the Black Demon Stronghold would send more assassins after him!
Uncle Yuan asked, "Feiyang, what do you plan to do?"
"To borrow your words, I'll meet soldiers with generals and water with an earthen dam!" Qin Feiyang declared, looking up at the crescent moon, a sharp, cold glint in his eyes.
Uncle Yuan nodded, immensely gratified.
"This is for you." He retrieved the pure-white dagger from his bosom. It was just that the dagger now had an added wooden sheath, similar to a sword's scabbard. Uncle Yuan had just finished carving this wooden sheath.
Qin Feiyang took it, gently unsheathed the dagger, and meticulously examined every detail. The dagger was as pristine as jade, each part exquisitely polished and carved. Had he not personally witnessed its lethality, Qin Feiyang would have mistaken it for a mere decorative art piece.
"This dagger is called 'Blue Snow.' It cuts through iron as if it were mud and will be a great asset to you. Keep it safe," Uncle Yuan instructed.
Qin Feiyang nodded. "Uncle Yuan," he asked curiously, "where did you keep this dagger before?"
Uncle Yuan chuckled. "The dagger and the Marrow-cleansing Pill were both stored in that secret chamber."
"No wonder I've never seen them," Qin Feiyang said, realization dawning. He looked up at Uncle Yuan. "Uncle Yuan, can you tell me now? Why do you have a Marrow-cleansing Pill? And this dagger? Do you know why those people in the Imperial Capital tried to harm me?"
A flicker in Uncle Yuan's eyes, then a smile. "Feiyang, how about this: when you turn sixteen, Uncle Yuan will tell you everything."
