“Hondō! Is the yakisoba ready yet?”
“Just a little longer!”
“Does it look like Seto-san’s portion will take much longer?”
“It’s ready, so help me serve it.”
“Roger that!”
On the day of the cultural festival, I was making yakisoba with Seto-san at a corner of the schoolyard, which was one of our class’s festival offerings.
Shimizu-san and Toshiya were selling the yakisoba we had prepared.
Since most other classes weren’t offering yakisoba, ours was selling better than expected.
Even though the festival had just started, the first batch of yakisoba we made was already gone, and we were in the middle of making more.
“Here you go! One yakisoba, sorry for the wait!”
“Thank you very much!”
