“Daiki, how did the exams go?”
After the final exams had finally concluded, Toshiya approached me on a day when I had no part-time job and was thinking of heading to the clubroom.
“I think they are not too bad. How about you, Toshiya?”
“At least I didn’t fail anything.”
If Toshiya says so, it must be true. I never worry about his grades since he’s always ranked near the top.
“So, did you need something? You didn’t come just to ask about the exams, right?”
“You’re sharp, Daiki. Aren’t you off from your part-time job today?”
“Yeah.”
“I don’t have club activities either, so how about we talk about love for a change?”
We haven’t had much time to talk leisurely recently because I was busy with my part-time job and Toshiya’s club activities.
I thought his desire to talk about love stories had faded, but it seems that wasn’t the case.
