Prologue

“Daiki, let’s talk about love.”
“All of a sudden? “
It’s after school. My friend Toshiya Matsuoka approached me as I was about to go home.
“You know, we’ve been friends since the first grade of high school, but we haven’t talked much about love, have we?”
It is true that Toshiya and I started talking to each other at the beginning of our first year in high school because our seats were close to each other, and we gradually became close friends. Even now in our second year of high school, our relationship hasn’t changed. It is also true that we have never talked about love. But I’m a bit confused about the sudden love talk.

Unlike me, Toshiya is a member of the soccer club. So I don’t think he has time to talk with me after class.

Hearing Toshiya’s declaration, which I did not know to whom he was addressing, I gave up on giving my opinion. In my experience, no one can stop Toshiya if he’s acting like this.
