Lin Qingyan didn’t know what to think. She didn’t even know that Jiang Cheng was going to bring her back to her home.
Keeping alert, Lin Qingyan got into the passenger seat. Because it was a supercar, she could only sit in the passenger seat.
Jiang Cheng started the car and drove quickly to the outskirts of Magic City.
Even at normal speed, it would take Jiang Cheng at least more than two hours to drive to Lin Qingyan’s home. The distance in between was too far.
Two hours later, when they were approaching Lin Qingyan’s home, Lin Qingyan asked him to stop in front of a supermarket, then they quickly walked into the supermarket and bought a lot of supplements, as well as tobacco and some alcohol.
They looked like someone who returned to their parents’ home during the new year.
Seeing her throwing big and small bags into the passenger seat, Jiang Cheng asked in shock, “Why did you buy so many things?”
Lin Qingyan rolled her eyes and said, “I haven’t been home for more than half a year. Since I’m going home this time, I will definitely buy more things for the neighbors who help take care of my dad. My dad has leg problems and has advanced gastric cancer. If it weren’t for these things, I wouldn’t know what I would do.”
“Then you can put your things in the front luggage compartment. It’s uncomfortable to sit here like that.”
Lin Qingyan stuck out her tongue in embarrassment. She then got out of the car, ran to the luggage compartment, and opened the lid. When she was about to put everything in her hand, she found that there were already many gifts, cigarettes, and alcohol inside, and she was stunned.
