Even though the café wasn't empty, Kichan raised his voice.
"I told you! If you're not careful, you'll end up dragged to the KCIA torture chamber!"
Anyone shouting like that should have drawn some attention, but the people around them acted like they couldn't hear a thing, not even sparing a glance.
"That thing works well. I need to get one too. How much was it?"
When Seowoon commented while looking at the item hanging around Ki-chan's neck, Ki-chan's expression twisted.
"Hyung!"
"You're gonna burst my eardrums. But maybe that's for the best."
"How can you interpret this situation like that?!"
"Think about it. Even though the KCIA guys are crawling all over, they're not making a move on me. They're probably here chasing that Resistance woman, or maybe someone else they suspect. Like the saying goes — the darkest place is right under the lamp."
"You think they're actually covering for you?"
