His movements were completely erratic, unpredictable and violent—not human at all.
In the middle of the chaos stood Jin, his body surrounded by dusts. His clothes were singed, and his fists glowed, ready to strike. Beside him stood Elysia, calm yet fierce. She held sword, one in each hand, her stance firm like a flowing river ready to flood.
Despite the danger, Elysia’s eyes were sharp. She dodged an assassin’s spinning attack and slashed in a quick, precise arc. Her blade sliced cleanly through the assassin’s arm, sending it flying through the air.
The assassin didn’t even scream. He just laughed—high and broken—as if he felt nothing.
"Get back!" Elysia shouted, turning her head toward the students who had gathered nearby. Her voice was filled with urgency and warning. "This guy... he is not normal!"
She wasn’t exaggerating. An assassin’s weren’t acting like trained killers anymore. He looked like he had lost his minds. Whatever they had taken or been given—it had turned them into monsters.
Jin stepped forward, though he is a swordsman, he didn’t use swords to protect the remaining students on the ground. "Stay behind us," he growled, his eyes never leaving the mad assassins. "We’ll hold them off!"
And the battle raged on.
Edwin’s eyes widened. "He... the assassins from last time or is it a new assassin?!"
Riku, breathing heavily, lowered his sword. "What the hell is going on...?"
For a moment, all thoughts of their fight vanished.
The two young swordsmen looked at each other, then at the breach.
