Chapter 345 345: I’m Not a Wild Beast!
Josh's expression darkened. "So, it was you, huh?"
"If you are referring to the one who made that declaration, then, yes. it was me." Drake admitted it bravely.
"We've found them!" Darwin used magic to send their coordinates to the others. "Come here quickly."
"It seems like more people will be coming here." Rheya was still calm despite knowing that Darwin was using magic to call his friends.
"Let them come." Sylara smirked happily because they were nothing in her eyes.
"That's right." Zareth added. "No matter how many there are, an ant is still an ant."
Josh and Darwin clenched their fists in fury.
They were a 5-star mage and a Unity rank warrior. No one would call them ants because they were already among the top powerhouses on the Vlizica Continent.
"Josh, they have insulted us." A flicker of fury crossed Darwin's eyes. "Let's show them the consequences of mocking us."
"Yes. Let's beat them to death!" Darwin raised his staff and immediately used one of his strongest spells.
The trees around them swayed wildly as a massive bird materialized above him.
At the same time, red flames burned violently along Josh's sword.
Like Darwin, he also used one of his strongest skills.
He wanted to teach them a lesson, so he would not show mercy.
Drake and the others remained composed when a massive flame slash and an air bird flew toward them.
They even didn't try to block or avoid it as if they saw nothing.
Just as their attacks were close to them, Helia let out a thunderous roar, and in the next second, their strikes disappeared without a trace.
Not only that, but Jost, Darwin, and many trees were also blown into the air because the shockwaves of her roar were so powerful.
"Cough!" Even though Jost and Darwin were still alive, they were heavily injured.
Clouds of dust billowed up as their bodies crashed onto the ground.
Drake and the others smiled mockingly as their gaze fell on them. Josh and Darwin previously said they would beat them to death, yet they could not handle one attack from them.
It was funny!
It was amusing!
They acted like powerful awakeners, yet they were so weak to the point that they were heavily injured just from a single attack.
"Hey, why are you lying on the ground? Didn't you say you would teach us a lesson?" Drake took the opportunity to make fun of them.
Josh and Darwin rose to their feet and gritted their teeth.
Of course, they refused to run away.
They were carrying the dignity and pride of the people of the Vlizica Continent, so they would fight to the end.
Just as they were about to launch another strike, around fifty awakeners appeared. Both Josh and Darwin were thrilled because their chances of winning had increased drastically.
"Josh, is it them?" A blue-haired man named Ragnar asked.
"Yes. It's them!" Josh replied. "Let's kill them!"
Ragnar nodded before finally shouting. "Brothers and sisters, they are the ones who declared that they are the masters of our continent. Show them the consequences of their actions."
"Kill them!"
"Eliminate them!"
Even though Ragnar was not their leader, they still listened to him.
A barrage of deadly magic and skills shot toward Drake and the others at incredible speed. The force of their strikes was so powerful that it affected the surrounding battlefield.
But instead of being terrified, Drake and the others smirked happily.
Zareth even jumped at their attacks immediately as if what he saw was nothing, but child's play to him.
"You want to kill us with such pathetic attacks?" Zareth's arms suddenly transformed into those of a wolf. "Let me show you what a real strike is."
The moment he swung his hands, two massive claws flew toward their strikes.
Boom!
Explosions erupted in the sky, and the once dense forest had turned into a devastated area.
Right after he landed on the ground, Zareth wasted no time and attacked them. Screams of agony filled the air, and blood fell to the ground like countless raindrops.
Zareth laughed maniacally as he massacred them because he enjoyed killing those who offended him.
Once his attack ended, he stood amidst the fallen corpses and grinned sinisterly.
'What a beautiful sight!'
Blood flowed on the ground like a crimson stream that cut through the forest.
Some corpses had no heads, arms, or legs, while others were split in two. Anyone who saw the corpses would shiver tremendously because the sight was so horrifying.
Once he finished enjoying the view, he used a tree as a foothold and leapt back onto the warship.
"Zareth, you should have let one person live so we would know where the center of this continent is." Sylara spoke abruptly.
"Oops! My bad!" Zareth forgot about it because he was lost in the pleasure of slaughtering them.
"It's fine! We just need to travel to a city." Drake didn't care about it because sooner or later, the Vlizica Continent would fall into their hands.
"Alright. Let's continue our journey now." After saying that, Rheya gave the order for the crew to resume the flight.
----
The moon set and the sun rose.
When some people were still sleeping on their beds, Ren and his women were cooking by the lakeshore.
Soft giggles and laughter filled the air as he helped his women and teased them. His heart throbbed with happiness because he could enjoy the morning atmosphere with them.
"Kya!" A cute voice escaped from Zaria's little mouth when he suddenly carried her to a stone.
But even so, she didn't try to free herself and let him do whatever he wanted.
Once he reached a boulder, he sat down and pulled her onto his lap. "Zaria, don't you feel like we are in a paradise?"
"Un." She nodded.
Lexie, who saw them, immediately shouted, "Sister Zaria, don't fall for his sweet words. He is a wild beast in human form and I'm sure he is waiting for the chance to devour you."
Ren turned to her and defended himself. "I'm not!"
"Don't believe him!" After saying that, Lexie looked to the others for support. "Sisters, I'm right, aren't I? He is a wild beast in human form, right?"
"Yes. He is!" Scarlett and the others replied in unison.
"Hehe." Veylina found their relationship warm and amusing because she had never thought of them bullying him like that.
'No wonder they are all so harmonious.'
She said in her mind.
He returned his attention to Zaria again. "Zaria, don't believe them. I'm not a wild beast. I'm a young man who is kind, gentle and humble."
"Ren, you can eat me if you want to." He was her man, so Zaria would satisfy him wherever and whenever he wanted, including in the lakeshore.
"Is that so? Then, I will grant your wish now." He acted as if she were the one who wanted to do adult things.
Zaria did nothing when he turned her to face him.
As he was bringing his face closer to hers, she slowly closed her eyes.
A moment later, their lips finally met.
Lexie, who noticed it, immediately said, "Sisters, look! The wild beast is making his move!"
"Hehe." Diana and the others giggled softly.
Ren instantly stopped the kiss and turned to Lexie.
'She is really a bad lady!'
