Chapter 252: Inviting Zaria to Dinner
Sunspire Fort, Investigation Room.
"How is it?" Althea asked.
"There is no important information on them." Ren told her they were only ordinary soldiers who were given a task to poison the pool, nothing more than that.
"Commander Rowen, you can kill them now." They were no longer useful, so Althea ordered him to kill them.
"Understood." Commander Rowen responded.
Right after she left the Investigation Room, she headed to Zaria’s chamber because Ren said she was injured by an assassin at the waterfall.
"Zaria, are you there?" she asked as she knocked on the door.
"Mother, what’s wrong?" Zaria inquired after opening the door.
"Ren said you were injured, so I came to check your condition." Althea answered honestly.
"It was only a minor injury. I’m fine now." Zaria was pleasantly surprised by her mother’s answer.
In the past, she had never come to visit her, even when she was injured, so this simple act meant a lot to her.
