Chapter 237: Trapped Inside a Barrier With Queen Althea
House, Dining Room.
"I’m full!" Ren said with a happy smile. "Queen Althea, your cooking is as delicious as ever."
"I’m glad you like it." even though she only smiled softly, but deep inside her, she was bursting with joy because the man she loved was praising her cooking.
"Hmm?" Ren was pleasantly surprised when Althea suddenly rose from her chair and sat beside him.
"I know you want to lovey-dovey with me, so I decided to grant your wish. Let’s just say this is your reward for praising my cooking." Actually, she was the one who desired to be lovey-dovey, but she didn’t want to say it.
He held her left hand gently and said, "Don’t you think we are like a wife and a husband right now?"
She giggled at his remarks. "We are not even a couple yet. Why are you skipping so many steps?"
"Because I love you." He said in a soft, loving voice.
She stopped giggling and smiled softly. "I love you too, Ren."
The duo didn’t say a single word anymore and looked each other in the eyes.
Their hearts suddenly beat fast, and a desire to kiss arose within them.
