’Scarlett, why did you reveal it?’
The corner of his lips twitched when Scarlett revealed everything.
But even so, he didn’t say anything because they were in the middle of an official announcement.
"City Mistress, considering all that Ren has done for our city, I have a suggestion," Kai said as he raised his right hand.
Scarlett turned to him and asked curiously, "Hmm? What is it?"
"How about we build a statue of Ren?" Kai voiced out his suggestion. "He saved our city and now his brilliant idea will boost our income and improve our lives. Don’t you think he deserves to be honored with a statue?"
"I agree!" Brendan added. "He saved both our lives and our city, so I believe he truly deserves this honor. What do you think, everyone?"
"I agree too!"
"Me too!"
"Ren is our hero, so we should absolutely build a statue of him!"
One by one, the citizens voiced their agreement because, from their point of view, he unquestionably deserved such recognition.
