Chapter 136: Good Time at the Lake
The following morning, Ren and the others resumed their journey.
Like yesterday, Luna’s curious nature and cheerful chatter filled their travels with joy.
Her adorable reactions to the ever-changing scenery brought smiles to everyone’s faces, making her the heart of the group’s happiness.
Ren even found his task of driving the carriage far less tiring because Luna’s enthusiasm and lively personality turned what could have been a monotonous job into a pleasant and enjoyable experience.
"Big brother, look!" Luna pointed ahead excitedly. "That tree is white! Everything is white from the trunk to the leaves! Why is it so different from the others?"
"It’s called Ice Tree." Ren knew the name of the tree because he analyzed it with his system. "The Ice Tree is quite unique because it grows by absorbing the spiritual energy around it."
"Ice Tree?" Luna shifted her gaze to the birds flying around the tree. "What about those birds? What are they called?"
Instead of answering her question, Ren asked, "What do you think their name is?"
Luna touched her chin thoughtfully. "Hmm...They are white like the Ice Tree. Are they called Ice Birds?"
"Close, but not quite." Ren responded, "Even though these birds are white, they aren’t called Ice Birds. They are known as Moonfeather birds."
"Moonfeather bird?" Luna tilted her head, puzzled, "But they don’t have any resemblance to the moon. Why would they be called that?"
